BEST LOCATION
The Casa di Sophie is located in a quiet side street of Minusio.
It is a 3 minute walk to Lake Maggiore and you can enjoy either a morning swim or a late evening swim.
The bus stops right outside the front door.
Supermarkets and the Tenero shopping centre are also within a 10-minute walk.
If you want to go for a drink in the evening or have a delicious Italian lunch or dinner, you can reach L'Approdo directly at the port of Minusio in 5 minutes.
Exactly for all boaters, the boat harbour is only 5 min. away ;-).
Whether it's the Locarno Film Festival, Moon and Stars or just a day or an evening on the Piazza Grande in Locarno - anything is possible.
You can be in Locarno in 10 minutes by bike, bus or car.

LUGANO
Lugano is also not far away - you can be in Lugano by car in just over 30 minutes.
Of course, you can also take the train or, if you have a little more time, you can even cycle to Lugano.

Great, even then the Casa di Sophie is perfectly located for you. From here you can start countless hikes or bike tours. No matter what your condition and what time of year.

Have you ever been to the Verzasca Valley?
The Verzasca Valley (Valle Verzasca) is an idyllic valley nestled in an impressive mountain world, ideal for hiking, biking and enjoying nature. The heart of the valley is the emerald-green Verzasca River with its finely polished gorges and deep pools, which invite you to bathe in summer.
It is not for nothing that some bathing spots here are also called the "Maldives of Switzerland".

The appartment
The flat has an area of 57 m2. This includes the large balcony with morning and evening sun, which is an additional 14m2.
The living room is furnished as follows:
- Dining table with 6 chairs
- Cosy sofa bed with enough pillows and blankets
- Sideboards and chests of drawers
- television set
- Secretary with screen and keyboard
In the open kitchen, guests can expect the following:

The bedroom is small but nice and here guests will find the following:

In the hallway, guests have a generous wardrobe, mirror and coat rack.
W-Lan, towels, bed linen and soap are of course included.
